What is a Retirement Village?

A retirement village is generally a residential community designed to accommodate older individuals who are able to care for themselves. Most residents are 55 years or older, are retired or are spouses/partners of such people.Retirement villages offer various types of programs to meet your medical, recreational and overall living requirements.

Some residents are looking for a little additional assistance, in addition to health care e.g. grounds and home maintenance. Others residents may require more consistent support. Retirement villages are designed to accommodate the breadth of service support required.
